Should I take one or two scoops of SHIFTED Energy?

One scoop is like a small cup of coffee and two scoops is like a big cup of coffee. If you're used to convenience store energy drinks like Bang or Monster, then you'll probably want two scoops for the full effect.

You can always start with one scoop and work your way up until you find the ideal energy. Many of our fans are very happy with 1.5 scoops. Others go as high as 3 scoops but we do not recommend that unless you have a very high caffeine tolerance!

How much SHIFTED Energy can I consume per day?

This varies from person to person based on caffeine tolerance and whether you've had other sources of caffeine sources.

Most people should not have more than 600mg of caffeine per day and we definitely don't recommend more than 1000mg.

If you have no other sources of caffeine during your day, the most SHIFTED Energy you should consume over an entire day is 6 scoops.

How is SHIFTED Energy different from SHIFTED Pre-Workouts?

SHIFTED Energy adds the ingredient L-DOPA as a nootropic mood booster and removes most of the workout ingredients from the pre-workouts that help with strength, blood flow and endurance. SHIFTED Energy is designed to provide focused energy and mood improvement.

Having said that, some people do use SHIFTED Energy as a basic pre-workout because of the caffeine.

How many flavors do you have of SHIFTED Energy?

Right now SHIFTED Energy just comes in Gummy Blast but we are expanding our flavors and will have several new ones in 2025.

Does SHIFTED Energy come in stick packs?

Not at the moment but this is in the works.

Which nootropics are included in SHIFTED Energy?

Alpha GPC for focus. L-DOPA for mood boost. L-Theanine for calmness. Rhodiola rosea for anti-fatigue. L-Tyrosine for increased cognitive performance. Taurine for increased neurogenesis.

What is the best use case of SHIFTED Energy if I'm taking all of my other SHIFTED supplements?

We like to use SHIFTED Energy as an afternoon pick me up around 1 or 2pm. If you've had coffee or used our pre-workouts, then you'll want to wait a few hours before using Shifted Energy or take a much lighter dose.

When is the best time to take SHIFTED Hydration?

Anytime you need to fill up your electrolyte tank.

For working out, we recommend you take SHIFTED Hydration during your workout (intra-workout) because of all the essential nutrients, you deplete electrolytes (and water) the fastest while working out. Plus SHIFTED Hydration will reinvigorate you to push through more sets.

Taking SHIFTED Hydration before and after sporting events will help prevent cramping.

Taking SHIFTED Hydration before, during and after any sweaty situation will help your body stay invigorated and become get rejuvenated.

Do you have a naturally sweetened version of SHIFTED Hydration?

Our current flavors are sweetened with sucralose but in the near future we will have naturally flavored versions with Monk Fruit and Stevia.

Does SHIFTED Hydration help with skin hydration?

Yes, there is some evidence that Vitamin C which is in SHIFTED Hydration helps with skin hydration. Additionally, the skin contains approximately 32% water and water contributes to a more youthful and glowy appearance. With an optimal blend of electrolytes we can empower our skin to retain more water, improving overall skin hydration. Stay tuned for a full line of SHIFTED naturally flavored products.

How much SHIFTED Hydration should I consume per day?

This depends entirely on how many electrolytes your body needs.

If you've been sweeting a lot working outside or going for a long hike, you might take up to 3-4 servings per day as needed.

On hot days and in warmer months you might find yourself taking 2 servings of SHIFTED Hydration per day most days. In cooler months, you may not need any, or you may only take 1 serving.

A lot depends on your activity levels and the climate.

Can you lose weight with SHIFTED Hydration?

SHIFTED Hydration can help you with weight loss because hunger often comes from cravings related to electrolytes (especially salt). If you satisfies these cravings with a low calorie product like SHIFTED Hydration, then you will avoid higher calorie salty products like potato chips or french fries.

What is the purpose of SHIFTED Hydration?

All human beings need electrolytes in their diet.

Electrolytes help everything in your body run better. From your individual cells to your muscles, electrolytes will help your body run more smoothly and you will feel more invigorated .

What's the difference between Maximum and Premium Preworkout?

We like to think of Premium as your daily performance fuel. Some of us even use it as an energy drink replacement. It's the perfect energizing pick me up with over 11 ingredients designed to give your mind and body an extra edge.

Maximum is the product we take on heavy lifting days or when we really want to challenge ourselves. It's scientifically designed to let your body push itself to the limits. Maximum has higher doses of the most important ingredients and a few additional ingredients like ElevATP and Oxystorm red spinach extract that take preworkouts to the next level.

For optimal athletic performance prior to and during sports competition we recommend a half dose of Maximum.

Which preworkout is best for women?

Most women prefer our Premium Pre-Workout and especially enjoy the Tropical flavor. The Premium pre-workout is a more moderate dosage and the perfect place to get started. At the same time, plenty of women have enjoyed our more intense Maximum Pre-Workout as well, especially those who like to push themselves to the limit.

Which product is best for athletes?

We encourage you to experiment! A lot of athletes have told us that half a serving of Maximum gives them the best edge without too much hyper focus.

When training hard in the weight room, take a full dose of Maximum. On your off days, take Premium as daily performance fule and to keep your beta-alanine and creatine levels up.

Runners can benefit from taking pre-workout because of the electrolytes and endurance ingredients like beta-alanine, l-citrulline, elevATP, beet root and red spinach. Half a dose of our Maximum Pre-Workout is ideal for runners.

Has Shifted been tested scientifically, in a lab?

Yes. Every ingredient in Shifted has been thoroughly studied in published academic literature. Additionally, Shifted is currently being studied in three active double blind peer reviewed studies. So far one of these studies has been published and you can read about it here.

What makes Whey Protein Isolate different from other forms of Whey Protein?

The easiest way to explain why Isolate is a superior form of Whey Protein is simple: it has the fewest calories per gram of protein of any mainstream protein option. Isolate minimizes the number of carbs and fat that come with a serving of protein.

Because of this, WPI is especially ideal for those looking to lose weight or cut body fat.

How much SHIFTED Whey Protein Isolate can I consume per day?

We highly recommend that you get some of your protein from real food. Having said that, there really isn't a limit to how much whey protein isolate you can consume in a given day.

A typical customer uses one scoop (25g) per day but serious bodybuilders consume up to 4 scoops (100g) per day.

Can you lose weight with SHIFTED WPI?

To lose weight you need to be in a calorie deficit. Whey Protein Isolate can be helpful in maintaining a calorie deficit because protein helps satiate and keep your body satisfied. It also helps to preserve muscle mass during weight loss.

What is the purpose of Whey Protein Isolate?

All human beings need protein in their diet. Many people do not get enough. And the more muscle mass you have, the more protein you need to maintain your muscle mass.

Another role of Whey Protein Isolate is recovery. WPI helps with repairing and rebuilding muscle. To repair and reubild, your body needs the basic building blocks (Amino Acids) which are contained within Whey Protein Isolate.

What does it mean when you say there are 12g of Essential Amino Acids?

Whey Protein Isolate is a complete protein and therefore contains all of the essential amino acids (EAAs) needed for muscle synthesis.

The EAAs contain the BCAAs. So the 12g of EAAs in in SHIFTED's WPI contain the 5.5g of BCAAs.

Do you add EAAs or BCAAs to your Whey Protein Isolate?

No, Whey Protein Isolate naturally contains both essential amino acids (EAAs) and branched chain amino acids BCAAs and it is an excellent source of both.

When it comes to muscle recovery what is the difference between SHIFTED WPI and SHIFTED Recovery

SHIFTED WPI is 100% Whey Protein Isolate and therefore has to be digested before the amino acids are available to start muscle building and repair.

SHIFTED Recovery has 10g of free form Essential Amino Acids which are immediately available for rapid recovery. They are more quickly available than pure whey protein.

We recommend taking SHIFTED Recovery immediately your workout and then SHIFTED WPI 30-60 minutes later to sustain recovery.

When is the best time to take SHIFTED Recovery?

When you want to maximize muscle recovery after strenuous activity.

For working out, we recommend you take SHIFTED Recovery immediately after your workout. This allows for rapid muscle recovery due to the free form Essential Amino Acids in our formula.

As a delicious,low-calorie protein snack, you can take SHIFTED Recovery whenever you feel like it. And if you're like us, you'll kinda get addicted to this stuff!

Does SHIFTED Recovery have any other health benefits?

Yes, there is abundant evidence that the tart cherry powder we include in our formula reduces inflammation and oxidative stress. We've heard from customers who use it along with other anti-inflammatories for everything from sunburn to hangover recovery.
